As a Strategic Buyer (d/f/m), you will become part of a dynamic team handling procurement and supplier management for commercial aircraft programs at the Finkenwerder site. This full-time role is demanding and varied, with responsibilities covering the full lifecycle of supplier contracts, from innovation and development through series production and support. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to secure optimal purchasing conditions, strong supplier performance, and successful contract negotiations. • Support procurement activities, including tender management and contract negotiations, to secure the best purchasing conditions in line with company needs.
• Track and ensure complete compliance with contract terms throughout all lifecycle stages, from development to support.
• Oversee daily supplier relationships while driving projects that improve customer value and reduce risks.
• Work closely with multifunctional and multidivisional teams across the tender, contract, and contract lifecycle stages.
• Manage commercial negotiations, including modifications to product portfolios.
• Make sure suppliers deliver against expectations in logistics, quality, support, and cost.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related discipline.
• 0-3 years of professional experience in procurement, operational and strategic sourcing, or contract management.
• Proficiency in IT tools such as MS Excel, MS Word, SAP, and Google Workspace.
• Basic understanding and experience with project management, process management, and risk management.
• Very good communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and proactively.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of German is advantageous.
• Experience in the aerospace industry or familiarity with its processes is a plus.
